I agree that capitalism promotes abundance, but for a very select few. The top 1% of the US population have 42% of the wealth, and 50 million US citizens live below the poverty line. Most people who believe the will achieve the "American Dream" will die not having made significantly more than their parents did. Being people that participate in a hobby as expensive as mountain biking and browse PinkBike in our free time, we're not the best reflection of the average American. I'm not saying Capitalism doesn't work, I'm just saying its not as ideal as you make it out to be and it doesn't favor the common man.

They could put these guys on kid's tricycles and they would still pin it to hell and back. I don't think their sponsor matters that much, because Coastal Crew videos will be epic no matter what. I'm not a huge fan of the big S, but if the riders are getting a better deal or better pay for what they love to do, more power to them.

SWEET BABY JESUS! I have never seen such awesome prizes. Like each time I scrolled down I had to gasp. But considering the amount of work and talent that goes into VODs this swag will be well earned. Yeah, I'm still using it. Best air shock I've ever ridden. But at 245lbs with gear and camelbak its hard to set it up so that it doesn't blow through initial travel while still remaining supple for small hits. I feel like a coil would be better for my weight.

I'm doing well, just really busy with school so haven't been riding much. I'm looking forward to more riding time in the summer and possibly building up an AM 29er so I can climb as well!
